We've been busy bee's preparing for our yearly trip to the Santa Fe River, in North Florida, on Friday. Yesterday was a fun filled day of running about town gathering supplies - bugspray, sunscreen, waterproof camera, water shoes..... We're going go tubing down the Itchituknee River, visit local springs, fossil hunting, hiking, cookout, games, and the best part - swinging from a really long rope into the middle of the river. Ahhhh......memories.
Yesterday also held many random questions from a curious little bird...
Why is there breakfast and dinner?
How did you grow up so fast?
How does fire start?
Why can you die if you don't eat?
Why are mean people brown?
Why is a word called a word?
Kaiden is always very inquisitive but sometimes he will ask 10 questions like these all within 5 minutes! And "why are mean people brown?", where did that come from???? I think there was a boy at the park that took his ball away that was "brown" and made his little mind start working.
Kaiden threw me a party last night celebrating the "day I was born", making sure we had all the right ingredients for a good party-
Food and drinks: cookies with Shrek sprinkles and orange juice
Party favors: party blowers
Fun games: ring around the rosy and a juice drinking competition
Gifts: an awesome drawing of a man crying and my very own birthday story being told to me at bedtime.
He was so proud that he organized such a great party and asked if it was my best party ever about 30 times while drifting off to sleep. First thing this morning he was ready to throw another party!

Awwww!!! That is so sweet of Kaiden to throw you an un-birthday party. Very Mad Hatter of him to do it in July :) Does he know the Alice and Wonderland story?
It was super sweet of him. He's still talking about it! And no, he doesn't know the Alice and Wonderland story yet. Not sure why, but he doesn't! Thanks again for that video - Hillarious!
